Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actress. She was nominated for the Emmy Awards in the year 2017 in her role of Martha Hanson, the star of FX's period spy series The Americans. Other credits for her acting comprise the Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright was born in Sunderland native, born 12th July, 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age.
