Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Tina Louise began her acting career as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the following years, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. Her first music album called It's time for Tina in the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In that time, she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise did a great task of switching between Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber as well as contrasting characters from the glamour doll image she was often portrayed. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years, she has made a distinction as a producer of numerous popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on 28, August 1965 the family relocated to Toronto when she was three. She spent the majority of her youth there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
