Yael is who is an Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael is a graduate of NIDA. Yael was fortunate to work with Australia's leading storytellers. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in television, film and theatre. Yael is an internationally acclaimed actor in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael decided to make New York City her home following she was a part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced the critically-acclaimed production. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. Based in the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery is a place to promote new writing, innovative creative projects, and supports the formation of new writers.
