Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Sullivan is a native of and was raised within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mom is a former back-up singer at Philadelphia International Records. When she was five Her father was appointed as the curator of Strawberry Mansion Section. Strawberry Mansion Section. Her family later moved into this old structure. In 2005, she graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts with the vocal music major. Sullivan started singing as a contralto the children's choir. She then sang shortly after, in the adult group. His exposure to secular music was initially limited "I did solos in the church and was approached by someone to go on an gospel label when I was eleven but I wasn't ready to do that," she recalls. In the following year, McDonald's held a contest for children in large cities. I was able to sing "Accept the Grace of God" during It's Showtime at the Apollo. And the public was extremely supportive. She sang with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday party at 13. Sullivan was 15 when she first got signed by Jive Records. When she was 15 the label signed her to Jive Records. They recorded her complete album, but it wasn't made available for release. Sullivan was later dropped on the labels. They had a strong working relations along with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced many of her tracks and tracks, such as "Backstabbers" and "Backstabbers," which was written by Timbaland.
