Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on September 21 on the 21st of September, 1965, in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines, and grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. She was a theater and TV production. It was only when she moved into Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd learned something regarding comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was an outstanding teacher. Additionally, she learned to write comedy and come up with sketches. The lessons learned helped get ready for the role as Larry David's spouse on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). Since the dialogue is improvised for situation comedy, she's at home.
